Users will be immediately banned without warning for the following violations:
- Attempting to contact or hire operatives off-platform
- Sharing personal contact information in chat
- Poaching or offering work outside the app
- Data scraping or use of bots/scripts
- Threats, abuse, discrimination, or harassment
- Involvement in fraudulent or deceptive activity
- Tampering with GPS, impersonation, or misrepresenting identity
We may also pursue legal action, apply fines, and report violations to authorities as required.
2. Moderation Methods
We use both automated tools and manual review to monitor platform activity:
- Google Maps API tracking
- In-app chat scanning and keyword detection
- Interaction pattern analysis
- User reports and internal flagging systems
- IP address and device tracking
All user activity may be logged and retained for moderation, enforcement, and legal compliance.
3. Warning System (Where Applicable)
Not all violations result in an instant ban. Depending on severity, users may first receive:
- Internal warning via in-app message
- Temporary suspension (1–14 days)
- Permanent ban if misconduct continues
However, for high-risk or prohibited actions (e.g. poaching, fraud, scraping), we reserve the right to bypass warnings and immediately ban the account.
4. Ban Types
The following ban types may apply:
- Soft ban: temporary access lock due to suspicious behaviour
- Hard ban: permanent removal of access
- IP ban: prevents all access from a known IP or device
- Chat mute: disables messaging functions due to spam or breach
5. Appeal Process
Users may submit one formal appeal through the in-app support system. Appeals must:
- Be submitted within 7 days of the ban
- Include a full explanation and evidence (if available)
Decisions on appeals are final and binding. Repeat appeals or abusive messages will result in a complete block from the Platform.
6. Contractor & Operative Specific Bans
- Contractors who breach hiring terms (e.g. off-app work) may face:
- A £10,000+ penalty
- Lifetime ban from the Platform
- Court action for damages and contract breach
- Operatives who share contact info, underperform deliberately, or try to secure side jobs may be:
- Flagged and permanently removed
- Denied any future work
- Reported to enforcement authorities if fraud is involved
7. Banned User Data
All banned user data (including chats, IP logs, job history, and GPS logs) will be stored securely for legal and audit purposes. We will cooperate with law enforcement or courts if disclosure is requested.
8. No Re-Entry
Once permanently banned, users may not:
- Register again under a new name or device
- Use another person’s account
- Attempt to bypass restrictions
Doing so is a breach of our Terms and may trigger legal consequences.
9. Platform Rights
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or ban any user at our discretion
- Modify or disable parts of the Platform without notice
- Use all available evidence and data to enforce this policy
- Reject any account that we believe poses a risk to our community or business
10. Updates
We may change this Moderation & Banning Policy at any time. Continued use of the Platform signifies agreement to the most recent version.
